Library Policies

Interlibrary Loan is when we request articles and books for you from other libraries. 

How it works:

Articles:

1.  When a database doesn't offer the full text of the article, click to fill in the request form. 

2.  Or email cculibrary-ill@ccu.edu the article citation along with your name, email and student ID number.  (Click on "cite" in the database to get the full citation of the article to copy and paste in your email).  

Books and other materials

Email cculibrary-ill@ccu.edu with the complete citation of the item along with your name, email and student ID number. 

Note: ILL books are only for those individuals who can come to the main Lakewood Campus to pick up their items. We are not able to ship books due to differing loan periods and processing times from the lending libraries.

How quickly will my interlibrary loan come?

Disclaimers:

1. Interlibrary Loans are processed Monday – Friday only.

2. Articles can take from one hour to a couple of weeks to arrive.

3. We try to get all articles but can’t guarantee them (for varying reasons).

4. ILL is free for you; the library bears the cost and staff time; please submit truly desired articles.
