About Our Mission: Fostering resource exploration and knowledge creation
Fostering
Teach students how to learn
The Colorado Christian University library is an integral part of the academic life of CCU. The librarians and staff, the resources, and the physical and virtual space all work together to foster the growth of the CCU student. Students learn to find and evaluate sources of information while building their subject-specific knowledge.
Resource exploration
Teach students how to think for themselves
With a collection of over 769,000 books, videos, and music and access to 32 million more items through our lending partners, in addition to access to over 50,000 journals, the CCU Library makes a wealth of information available to the CCU community. The CCU Library collection is both broad, across breadth of human knowledge, and deep, particularly in areas that support the CCU curriculum.
Knowledge creation
Teach students to speak and write clearly and effectively
Through one-on-one reference services and library instruction sessions in classes, the CCU Librarians collaborate with faculty to foster the academic growth of students. Students build the information literacy skills and academic integrity that will serve them as they graduate from the university and become lifelong learners.
