This guide is designed to introduce you to the newspaper and magazine resources the library holds. Newspapers and magazines can be useful for your research but be aware these are not "peer-reviewed" nor do they provide scholarly articles*.
Newspapers are typically published on a daily basis and report contemporary information as well as opinion pieces. These articles are usually written by journalists, although opinion articles can be written by anyone.
Magazines are published anywhere from once a week to even once a year. They present longform and short articles and usually revolve around a specific topic. Again, these are not considered scholarly sources and are not peer-reviewed.
